Lumin X2 Has anyone used this device yet?

I own the Lumin X1 and I have been very happy with it. Recently Lumin has now released the X2 model.

The updated X2 is supposed to have superior internal components that exceed the X1 in sonic attributes.

Still, there doesn't seem to be much info that I can find about it compared to the X1.

Yes, and the power supply also has a grounding lug. I use the power supply ground lug to ground the unit to a Russ Andrews AC grounding unit.

I also have a Entreq grounding box for the main unit.

The Russ Andrews grounds the chassis, while the Entreq grounds the signal.

Works pretty well!

For goods going from one side of America to the other, Fed Ex uses trains, so unlike truck where it gets scanned every few hours, in my case shipping from GIK Acoustics there was no scan from Atlanta until the train freight was unloaded in Portland- about 4-5 days. A little unnerving for sure, there at least should be some notice mentioning this strategy.

mclinnguy,

Thank you so much for this info.

While just at Fed Ex, I just asked the guy at the Fed Ex counter about the inability to track my last shipment from Ca to Michigan. I asked him about the possibility of Fed Ex using a train instead of trucks to carry the packages across country as to the reason.

He looked at me and said, " I have never heard of Fed Ex using trains". But in his defense, he was sort of dummy.

I asked ChatGPT its take on the FedEx situation. Its reply was cross country shipments by FedEx are often containerized and shipped via truck or rail. Not until the contents are unpacked at the destination can they be rescanned. Makes sense to me.

ozzy,

May I ask what sits in front of your X2? Do you use a streaming service (ie, Tidal) or is the L2 your primary interface?
