Lumin X2 Has anyone used this device yet?

I own the Lumin X1 and I have been very happy with it. Recently Lumin has now released the X2 model.

The updated X2 is supposed to have superior internal components that exceed the X1 in sonic attributes.

Still, there doesn't seem to be much info that I can find about it compared to the X1.

I have the X1, what is the x2?

How much is it? What do I do with my X1 if I replace it? 

I use it with roon because the interface of the internal system with x1 it’s not very good but the sound is supposed to be pretty good.

Don’t see need to change something that’s really good.

Why does anyone need a separate dac? x1 has a great dac and the internal wiring is clearly done really well. I have a separate dac and never use it.

I currently use a Lumin U2 (with an EMM Labs DAC 2x) and had a Lumin U1 before that (I use an all in one Lumin M1 is a spare 2-channel system in a small bedroom).  I might eventually consider the X2 down the road.

The X2 was shipped from California to Michigan on Tuesday. There is no more shipping information available. Usually, I can track the movement throughout the journey.

Should I think the Fed Ex truck is driving it straight through to my house? Just kidding, but it does seem odd that there is no more tracking info.

jimpainter, you stated it took 7 days for your X2 to arrive from Ca. to Michigan, but could you track it?

I hope there isn’t something wrong. We audionuts, always have something to drive us crazy.

I was provided a FedEx # by Goldprint Audio after purchase. It showed a delivery date but no further tracking info was available until night prior to scheduled delivery.

Thanks for that Fed Ex information.It must be a Fed Ex tracking glitch.
