Can't reply to a message with out a payment method and phone number????


Why does Audiogon need a payment method and phone number registered to reply to a message? This is not a sales inquiry but a message form another member about a form question and advice on amp speaker matching. I'm not too keen on giving this to Audiogon for this reason. Are they charging me to reply to a member to member question?

I have rarely come to these forums anymore. I also cannot reply to other Agoner’s who try to message me. They’re not getting my credit card though.
