Favorite Led Zeppelin Album

Mine is How The West Was Won.

Yours?

I grew up during the Zeppelin hey day and was fortunate enough to see them live twice.

My favorite is actually III. I mean it opens with Immigrant Song, has Gallows Pole, Bron-Y-Aur Stomp and Tangerine!

You really can't go wrong with any of the first 6 albums. I didn't care for Presence at all when it came out, but it's grown on me. How can I not like Nobody's Fault but Mine...

Kashmir (Live from Celebration Day), the historic, one-night-only reunion show occurred on Dec 10, 2007 at The O2 Arena in London.

-whenever it pops up on Youtube or the rare chance I play the BluRay DVD on my home theater system, it encapsulates the best of the old and newer Zeppelin all into one. You can really tell in this performance they are recapturing the past and having a lot of fun. No Quarter is awesome too. The audience enjoys it tremendously, and maybe even a little surprised to be there and see it in person after many years.  Sounds surprisingly good with more modern technology and even better to experience on big screen home theater.

If you are an old Zeppelin fan, and don't already own it - it's a must-have BluRay DVD, or ask for it as a birthday or Christmas gift.  The more you watch it the better it gets. https://www.ledzeppelin.com/celebrationday

That's like asking me which of my 2 sons I love the most, or do I prefer catching Largemouth Bass or Smallmouth Bass?

There is no correct answer 😆.  But if there were, it would be Physical Graffiti.

IV.

the Netflix documentary was unwatchable. It was somewhat surprising as it was about the World's most brilliant rock band. But I guess not every story has to be movie material. They led quiet normal lives while they were super talented.

+1 How the West was Won

What a great live “show” this was from their ‘72.  I have the original version which came out in 2003 and has the unedited version of the last track, “Whole Lotta Love.”

Specifically, the “Hello Mary Lou” section of the long live medley was removed from the remaster. The original 2003 release ran about 23:08, while the 2018 remaster was shortened to about 20:59.
