Quietest air conditioners for a listening room for the upcoming hot summer?

Anybody have any suggestions for the quietest best air conditioners for a listening room where one can enjoy the nuances of a good system and not have to turn up the TV too loud? A window unit 14,000 to 18,000 BTUs with a dba of 42 or lower. 24" width by a 17" height. It has to go into a window sleeve. Not allowed to put it another window.

Does anybody know of such a beast? With my current Frigidaire I can't listen to music at all and I have to turn up my TV to super annoyingly loud.

I have an extremely hot city apartment.

A friend who listens to music all the time who has a hot apartment lucked out in that he has a strong quiet air conditioner which is a marvel. The problem is it was installed by his landlord and there is no brand on the front!

Thanks for any thoughts.

Yeah , stereo5 is right if it has a sleeve you need a thru the wall A/C because regualr window units have side vents that the sleeve will cover so they don't work at all. The thru the wall units are not as efficient and more expensive too.

I went with a Mitsubishi  heatpump Mini Split. The Main unit is outside and I have a small air handler in the ceiling. On the lowest fan setting, I can barely hear it.  you can also get them set up like an all-in-one unit, like you'd see at Best Western or a Super 8.

All the best.

I think OP has rules, perhaps he is in an apt, condo: one unit, in an existing sleeve the max size he gave us.

So, what fits? what is the quietest?

I forgot that when I saw that clever window unit design with the lowest sound rating.

Good catch Elliott!

Sorry OP. I missed the whole apartment part.  They made me quit real coffee and I’m having troubles keeping focused.
