Advance Paris A12 v. McIntosh MA352

I'm looking into changing into a hybrid integrated amp. There are a number of them out there of course, but I am focusing in on two. Has anyone here compared the Advance Paris A12 to a McIntosh MA352 hybrid integrated amp? If so, how do they compare in terms of build quality, performance and value (especially since the price points on these two products is so far apart)? Or is such a comparison akin to apples v. airplanes (as in it is a ridiculous comparison)?  Thanks everyone!

Not a direct answer to your question, but .................. I have recently purchased the Pathos Logos MKII hybrid and am loving it, after getting rid of the Hegel H400 and Advance Paris A12 Classic.

i would take a look at the Pathos Logos mentioned above, looks interesting.  I have heard that particular Mac amp driving a set of Klipsch Forte IV and maybe it was the speakers but the sound was dull.  Why is Advance Paris earned in audiophile street credibility other than being a well publicized new "darling" ?

@waynefia Actually, you provided a direct answer!!! Yeah, I'm walking away from the Advance Paris. Thanks.

@avanti1960 You raise a great point: I am equally puzzled by the hype. The product sounds okay I suppose, but I am less than impressed with not only its sound but its build quality. I'm not seeing any real value here.

I'll  check into the Pathos Logos.
