Pass Labs Amps - Does the heat bother you?

I am very intrigued by pass amplifiers (NOT the intergateds). I have heard many good things about them. However, I also have heard from many people that they get really hot. I am interested in the stereo amps.... like the X350.

Curious, if you own one or used to own one... how do/did you deal with the heat? I wouldn’t want it heating up my living room where the AC runs more (which kills my music enjoyment session).

Also, I usually leave my  amp on from 5:00 pm till I go to bed (anywhere from 9:00 pm to 12 am). Not sure how that would come into play if a pass labs would be a good fit for me.

X250.8 owner here. Would I wish the amp to run cooler? Yes, but it is perfect for along Canadian winter ❄️ the big  bright blue meter actually bothers me at night. I wish theres way to turn thr led off.

I really love the sound so I cannot seem to change the amp.

If I were a manufacture I would say to leave them on all the time as you have to replace parts more often. Surge strikes ,brown outs ect. I feel maybe the class d is only ones I leave on. Enjoy the music . I'm near a nuclear lab but they won't let me plug in 🤨

We should all take a moment to appreciate that @mark200mph made a 99% improvement in grammar, punctuation, and basic writing.

I've have been a Pass Labs guy for many years, decades. I live 40mins from the factory. Great amps, made by great people, that sound amazing.  You will love them.

You know that's 😁.  As a surgeon it was never how whell you spelled otorhinolaringology crainofacial plastic surgeon but how well you operated and the best outcome when you fixed the brain fluid leak. That's what they cared about  how well the titanium plates contoured to thier face and how they looked as I trained with operation smile. As a matter of fact I showed many articles that showed poor handwriting compared  to high iq. We had to take notes so fast in school I developed my own short hand.test after test after test every day. My scores were 20% higher than the grad students who had half the class load . When i took the dental boards i was the 99% on the national exam. Dad was a nuc physics look up operation red wing. There has never been a spelling test in any of my national boards as i guess at that post doc level it does not save the countless lives as i have done. I could have ai sift through my posts but... anyway we can all learn and i have a sense of humor. After all every other night on call during residency never left me much time t0 study english as I left that to you. Enjoy the music and the english.
