I agree with @audphile1, dedicated lines and quality receptacles first!

Power Conditioner for Amplifiers
Does anyone have experience with ether the
Isotek Titan V5
or
Shunyata Typhon
These units are specifically designed to deal with power to Amplification. I’m particularly interested in the Shunyata as it addresses both removing noise from the AC but also provides a cache or reservoir of power.
Just thinking about these products as the summer cooling season approaches which adds more hash to the AC. These are diff from regenerative products which I’ve tried and found wanting.

I have dedicated lines for my audio equipment, a 20 amp line for my amp and pre and a 15 amp for all source equipment. I use the older tried and true Shunyata Hydras and their power cords. I have another 15 amp line for my speakers with powered woofers also plugged into a Shunyata Hydra. My system which contains tubes is completely noise free. I also use 3 Shunyata Z wall outlets at the end of the dedicated lines |
Agreed with the rest. Get dedicated 20 amp lines with 10 gauge or thicker wiring. I noticed a substantial difference doing this in my second setup. My primary studio setup already had dedicated lines, but I'm still preferring my amps go into the Shunyata Gemini/ Shunyata mpc-12 vs directly in the socket (I use Shunyata zr71 outlets) but YMMV. If I was in your shoes, I'd do the dedicated lines first if you haven't, then demo a Shunyata unit. If you can do a comparison vs something like a Hydra Sigma, that would be great. I like to plug all my components into the Shunyata and notice a substantial difference in doing so. Improved transient clarity primarily |
Probably it bit late, but I would look at ISOCLEAN POWER 60A3 II or ISOCLEAN POWER 80A3 II. They are made in Hong Kong to Military Medical Grade spec. They also have more holes in them for other stuff. I have had so many of these things, battery, filter so much so that I found Isoclean.. they last forever. |
