Which player for Accuphase c2900 and a75 original esoteric k01 or an Accuphase

I have the house sound of Accuphase  C 2900 paired with a 75 amplifier, it is sweet, but somewhat rolled off at the extremes,, I would be very very appreciative if you guys that know more than me would comment on the benefits of adding the esoteric   K0 1. original ,,or possibly the DP 720 or 750  I’m looking for a little bit more bass definition and do not want to get caught up too deep in the romance thanks in advance again for any help Barry

@bclower I received my DP-770 last Friday. Prepare your lifting strength for this :) 80 pound box and then lifting a nearly 65 pound object straight up with the integrated lift mechanism. Amazing how dense it is for a relatively compact chassis! It’s all worth it however as it is really quite a machine! Still getting used to it, but really happy with it so far. You can tell it has that Accuphase way about it. Very meaty and authentic sounding across the frequency spectrum. CDs sound so good through it! I have more CDs than SACDs so that’s a very welcome outcome. I picked up a very inexpensive streamer to test out, an iFi Zen Stream3 and it’s surpassed my expectations on just how good modern streamers can be. If you don’t obsess too much about streaming and want a good option for Tidal or Qobuz the iFI has direct modes- also supports Roon only. It’s good enough for now. Maybe if the mood and finances align I’ll try a more $$ streamer but not super caring about that as the joy of playing cds is enough and the ifi sounds shockingly good. You are in for a major treat.

@bclower : thank you!

@audiopacer: Congratulations! The Accuphase dacs, either stand alone or as part of their SACD players, are somewhat underrated in my opinion. I preferred the dac in my DP550 to the Rockna Wavelight as well as to the MSB Analog Dac with the upgraded separate power supply, both of which were more detailed and had better separation (especially the MSB, which I've owned for a while) but less natural and coherent sound.

Hi pacer happy to hear things are great and you are enjoying your new Accuphase dp 770 ,,, mine arrived a day before we left for Florida ,,,, can’t wait to get back for a once around the block👍congratulations my friend ,,, ENJOY THE MUSIC    BARRY

@bclower enjoy vaca!
some news to report: the IfI Zen 3 Streamer turned out to be a turd. Constant churn with needing to reboot it. Spent way too long fiddling with it. Sending it back. It was worth a shot. For now using Roon Nucleus One USB port to a Wyred4Sound USB reclocker and it sounds quite good. Will run this for a while for the streaming side but long term I have no idea yet. Been stocking up on CDs and really loving going thru my existing collection. The 770 continues to amaze but have noticed the sound is going thru changes as it accrues hours.
cheers

@audiopacer My Innuos Zen MK3 sounds beautiful and the Innous Sense app is pretty reliable (there were some hiccups now and then, but it's pretty good). It's a very good value for money IMO. Innuos Pulse is another good option, more precise but not quite as organic sounding.
