You are right about that.

Mine is big (small compared to that). You need a dedicated nearby location to place it when removing it, I have felt squares on the right edge I put on the floor, and felt squares on the face of the Reel to Reel cabinet where I lean the top of it.

See the tray of plants on the R2R deck. There are two of them, I painted the trays black and put felt feet on them. It moves, there for TT use, or on top of the dust cover on the TT when playing tapes.

When we bought that bentwood/glass shelves rack (floor model from J&R, NYC when going out of business), I promised Donna she could keep plants on top. All components were on the shelves below.

Then, I came up with the tray idea so I could ’share’ the top. She waters away, I trust her, I had to keep my promise of course.

@lewm

funny, I used to watch a lot of Korean shows on DramaFever, Rice Cookers everywhere. Then some damn network bought DramaFever, and it was gone.

Our son who has lived in Tokyo for almost 20 years gifted us with a rice cooker way back when he first moved over there, all buttons labeled in Japanese which he kindly translated for my wife.  The thing refuses to break or malfunction after nearly 20 years.  Over there, in department stores, there are shelves upon shelves displaying rice cookers of differing degrees of automaticity and cost. Everyone has one.

Not as radical as some of the pieces above, but still unusual:

Anyone knows where these stack up in terms of sound quality? I've been curious about them since I was a kid, but not to the point of making a lateral move from my long-owned and beloved TD320.
