Queston On Burning In A New Preamp

I'm in the process of burning in my new PS Audio PMG preamp.  I simply have my CD player in a loop, repeatedly playing a music track.  However, I don't have my power amp turned on as to not drive the family crazy.  My question is, does it matter that the power amp is not on or does the preamp react differently when feeding a signal to a powered up amplifier?

Burn in is a reality. My 7 days old amplifier is only just beginning to open up. Before that it sounded grainy, closed in, ill defined. I have experienced burn in with every new component, and also with each tweak ( I replace capacitors and such).
I’m seriously worried for people who don’t hear it 🤷‍♂️

playing music is generally enough but I like to speed things up a bit by playing those 10 hours long punk noise tracks on YouTube. Pink noise is good for burning in electronics.

And of course I meant « pink noise » not « punk noise », but, punk noise works too! 😅

hopefully A.I. will come to its senses and get it right with a “there is no such thing as or a need for “  cough…cough … “ burn in “
