How Much Have You Spent On Cables Throughout The Years. I'm Shocked When I Checked.

@devinplombier - in all good faith, I’m sorry but you cannot wriggle your way out of this one through the usual prevarication - my post and the findings of Eric Giese and many others refers to the use specially on ethernet cables and not the kinds you refer to. Yes, this knowledge about ethernet cables refers to those who do understand how digital audio functions, arguably, better than most of us.

I’ve spent a lot; more than I want to calculate. Do I wish I had spent less? Of course. But, I feel overall it’s been worth it — to me. This year, I’ve changed out one IC and the speaker cables. Totally satisfied and happy with it. I’d like to swap out one or two more ICs. We’ll see. Not a top priority.

But, yeah, probably made one or two mistakes over the years (at least). Whaddya gonna do?

All I know is that I replaced some decent cables with a higher priced product that had gotten excellent reviews.  The more expensive side cables had a dramatic   positive impact  on the music as listened to by my own and my wire’ s ears.  And, to me, it is all about the music!

Started out as a cable non-believer. I used to tease my friend about his fancy cables. Alas, I replaced a couple cables here and there, and heard a difference. Sometimes better, a few times worse. But yeah. A real and audible difference. Recently, I’ve replaced a couple power cables and interconnects with Luna cables and could not be happier. If you are like I was, and scoff at these things, I would invite you to open your mind and ears. You might surprise yourself. I certainly did.
