All-In-One Options

Hi Friends:

I am interested in suggestions for a transport/streamer/network player. OK if it has an internal DAC but I would be happy to use my own. I would like the unit to spin physical media as I have a large collection of CD/SACDs. Price not important yet just getting a sense of what might be out there that I am missing.

Naim Uniti Nova: 80w per channel class A/B streaming amplifier with DAB and FM radio and can play from a NAS. Good quality DAC and signature NAIM sound. It’s high quality and capable sound reproduction. 2xRCA and 2x DIN connections for external components, but no CD/SACD built in.

I have had a Uniti Nova for several years. It’s a great lifestyle solution and definitely NAIM worthy, but it’s not audiophile tier. The NOVA PE has 150W per channel class D amplification but same streaming focus. They are very attractive units to live with as well.

Bluesound Vault 2i. You can bypass the dac and rip up to 2 tb of music. I went with getting a LTA Aero as the dac, sounds great and very compact.

Take a look at the Wadax Studio Player....a all-in-one system. Yes, pricey = $39k , but it is one tenth of the price of the same reference system they make. When putting a digital system together (quality compenents) = CD/SACD transport, DAC, Streamer, interconnects, power cords - it is easy to reach upper of this pricepoint.
