I've used Darwin The Truth inter connects both RCA and XLR. I too enjoyed them although I found them a little bass shy. I sold the XLR to a fellow audiophile and they really took his system to the next level. They are a bargain used. They are very delicate too and when removing you have to pull from the jack not cable.
Anyone Else Tried Darwin Cables?
The rca jacks on the back of my Schiit Jotunheim II headphone amp are located so closely together that it’s difficult to find quality ICs that will fit in that restricted space without awkwardly jamming them together.
Another forum participant recommend Darwin cables, a brand I’d never heard of. It turns out, smaller diameter rca barrels are part of their design approach. As they offer home trials with a return/refund policy and furthermore, had some discounted cables left over from a recent audio show, I opted to audition them. The model I ordered is "The Natural 2" and normally lists at $895 for 1 meter.
At the risk of being accused of hyperbole, I was shocked by these cables. The level of transparency and detail they offer without (as far as I can discern ) any trace of forwardness exceeds any others I’ve heard in the 1- 2K price range. Layering, bass extension and overall rhythmic drive are also notable attributes I’m experiencing.
I found owner Bill Magerman very affable and quick to return emails. Naturally, YMMV, depending upon your gear and room but if you are seeking to improve transparency and like me, cannot tolerate overly bright sound, consider giving these a try.

@nonoise turned me on the these. I absolutely love them and have no need to look elsewhere. I use the Natural 2 SC’s and worked my way up to the Enlightenment Extreme IC. Bill is a wonderful human being to do business with. |
I might be late to the thread, but I cannot say a few words on Darwin Cables. As @kray says, Bill is one of a kind. An incredible human being, a pleasure to talk to, always kind and reachable. At the moment I have "Natural 2" cables as interconnects and speaker cables. The RCA’s were my way into the brand and I remember quite clearly that I was surprised, enjoying and rediscovering each piece of music I was listening to. The detail retrieval, the soundstage, the instruments tones, all was improved, nothing was lacking, nothing was annoying, it was nice. A year later, not so long ago, the speaker cables came about. And the experience was similar: enjoyable, highly entertaining, with more of those little details that you were not aware that were in that familiar recording of yours. For me, Darwin Cables are keepers, cables that let you enjoy music and have fun while doing it. I feel they let my system shine through, making it more revealing without being harsh, edgy or upsetting. If you ever wonder about silver cables, talk to Bill, you will not regret it.
