Magnepan LRS+ and WiiM Amp

I currently run my Qualio IQ (89 dB, 4 Ohm) speakers with a WiiM Amp both for music and it is also connected to the TV via HDMI. The WiiM amp runs them very well. Recently listened to the Magnepan LRS+ at a friend's house and was really surprised witht the clarity of sound. Since then have been thinking of getting a pair. The only place I think where I can keep the Magnepans is in the TV room to provide space both sides and I am limited to using the WiiM Amp due to the HDMI feature. Looking for advice/experience on pairing the LRS+ with the WiiM Amp.

thanks

@marktheshark The LRS+ was not outshined, it had a wall of sound that the LS50  Meta cannot touch. However, the LRS+ are not as clean on top as the LS50 Meta. My Magnepan Mini are also better on top than the LRS+. Actually, the Mini are better than both, if the space is small. The Mini also scales with amplification like my CODA #16. The Mini with the #16 is much better than the same on the LRS+.

@jjss49 thanks. So in your view a class D amp with 100 wpc won’t work?

not all class d amps are the same, some are excellent (agd, atmasphere, mola) but some are lower tier budget models (like the bluesound and wiim combo units, nad, imo)

imo the latter camp is far from ideal to bring the best out of maggies, which need both tremendous drive capability, control and purity of tone/clarity up and down the range... the low end class d units are unable to supply what is needed (if they did the better makers wouldn’t have a market for their gear!!)

I am slightly conffused, you were running, at mininmum, 7K speakers (Qualio IQ) with 300 dollars amplifier (Wiim)?
