Which player for Accuphase c2900 and a75 original esoteric k01 or an Accuphase

I have the house sound of Accuphase  C 2900 paired with a 75 amplifier, it is sweet, but somewhat rolled off at the extremes,, I would be very very appreciative if you guys that know more than me would comment on the benefits of adding the esoteric   K0 1. original ,,or possibly the DP 720 or 750  I’m looking for a little bit more bass definition and do not want to get caught up too deep in the romance thanks in advance again for any help Barry

You can always add a supertweeter for the high and subwoofer for base.no matter what cables you run your covered.people say mcintosh  roll off in the high as I have beryllium tweeters it overcomes that. You could dsp your room then it doesn't matter if couch is in the way. Have fun with the experience. I have the old accuphase m 1000 with 2 electrical plugs each amp and red digital meters in addition analog meters 2kw old and still going.enjoy the music.

Nice information mark much appreciated. The funny thing is I have an usher subwoofer, and a slice of darn busy. It’s brand new out of the box in a cover I had made for it. It just haven’t found the time to set it up I will take your advice and do that my friend thanks again Buddy

@bclower thank you! Did you also order an Accuphase SACD player? BTW, maybe hang on to the Luxman d05u; that is a great machine. It’s good to have as a backup and for variety now and then. A few years ago I had a D08u and made a huge mistake in selling that for a Bricasti M1 DAC. The Luxman was incredible/ hard to describe in mere words, but it was and still is a king player I’m sure. I also had (and regret selling ) Luxman D03x. I love SACD / CD players and I’m going all in back to these roots - I’m using streaming as a secondary means of music discovery, a background process, if you will. Physical media (for me) is overall a much more enjoyable, relaxing, and engaging endeavour, but I do appreciate the convenience of streaming/ just not as main source anymore (I could write a boring novel on this subject- but I will leave it at this, presently).

Happy Anniversary to you and your bride. Cherish each other and enjoy the music!🎶
