Finally a really good sounding LP pressing of Pet Sounds?

Pet Sounds has long been held in high regard musically, but not sonically (my 1966 mono LP sounds like a 3rd-generation copy made at 3-3/4ips) The video below is a 4-way discussion of the upcoming 1-Step LP that is claimed to change that situation.

this is the best mix/master of Pet Sounds on vinyl -https://dr.loudness-war.info/album/view/109912

the next best will be Steve Hoffman’s DCC mono master - https://dr.loudness-war.info/album/view/24612

so unless it is better sounding than either of these (that is a hard and tall mountain to climb) it is just a cash grab

First time I heard my DCC mono, I was very impressed. This was several years and upgrades ago.

I love The Beach Boys music and Brian Wilson's solo efforts and I appreciate that Brian had a traumatic childhood with his maniacal father, but here's an interesting anecdote:

According to a story told by Alice Cooper, at the 1974 Grammys, Brian Wilson asked to be introduced to John Lennon, stating that he had never met Lennon,  Cooper made the introduction.  A bit later, Wilson again asked Cooper to be introduced to Lennon.  Lennon handled the repeated requests politely, telling Cooper afterwards, "I’ve met him hundreds of times. He’s not well, you know".
