amp I bought 3 days ago not powering on - electrical engineer advice wanted

I bought a used Musical Fidelity A380 in good condition. Played it every day, worked fine.

Today it did not turn on. There were no sign of failure yesterday. Could it be a fuse or power supply?

Given the ever conflicting nature of your advices, I am utterly confused and my next step is to call the tech, yell "whaaat is happeniiiing?" and then immediately hang up on him. Maybe this amp and the tech are imaginary as well. We live in a strange world.

EE's unfortunately can't troubleshoot. They only design systems. They aren't trained to get out in the field and physically troubleshoot.
