I had the f52, then the salon, then the salon 2. There's no denying the tweeter in the salon 2 is special compared to the previous models, but for my room each speaker stood out in its own area. I loved the salon 1 for live recordings, the dynamic drums and slightly hot tweeter really could shine. The salon 2 was like a surgical instrument, but My amp didn't have enough giddyup to let them sing while the f52 produced the most fascinating 3d space with image placement. My room is 17x27x7'.
