Van Alstine amps and Klipsch

Hi all--I'm working on a second system with a pair of Heresy IVs I purchased last year. I've tried class D but it was dry and dull. A friend recommended I look into Audio by Van Alstine. The new CA1 control (integrated amp) or NP1 amp looks interesting and affordable but I can't find many reviews on the Heresy's and Van Alstine. Does anyone have any experience with Van Alstine and Klipsch, particularly the Heresy's? Are they considered a good match? Thanks in advance.

When I bought my 700 they had a 30 day trial.you should look into that. I love the bang for the buck van alstene stuff. Happy listening

Van Alstine offered modded Dynaco’s for years. If you could obtain on of the ST-70’s or an SCA-35’s. I really don’t know if their little SS would be too dry, give them a call. Maybe take a look at Quicksilver, They have a sweet little integrated or you could go separates. I have modded Herey II’s and I like them with tubes. I ran mine with a  Rogue RP-1 and a Had Inspire 12 wpc SEP tube amp. I think that you would benefit from tubes in the chain. FWIT the Rogue has a single sub output and 2 pairs of volume controlled pre outs. Happy hunting , Mike B.

The typical paring with highly efficient Klipsch Heritage speakers like the Heresy is with tube electronics.
