What’s your favorite cleaning method for connections

Lots of cleaning methods, tools and solutions to choose from out there. I’m curious about what works best for everyone concerned. Thoughts or feelings on the subject?

Deoxit and then Stabilant 22 coating with q-tip or the brush they provide.

Every 6 months, if I am good ;-)

(New Years' week and Fourth of July week are easy to remember...)

I actually just found some Audio quest cleaning solution and a bottle that a body of mine gave me years and years ago and it basically dissolved all the gray oxidation on contact on my old Yama dog CR 2020 I hope it’s not taking any of the metal away but they were pretty ugly looking now they’re just pretty. I actually think it might’ve made a little difference with the photo connections. I’ve been using them to AB a couple of turntables I had sitting around I wanted to get rid of and it definitely made a difference for them. In the end, I think any decent contact cleaner that doesn’t dissolve plastic will probably work, but I definitely touched on a subject with a lot of opinions and there’s a lot of interesting information to digest from all of you so I appreciate it. Cheers! And happy listening!

From StereoShine:

“Hi John,

There was a glitch with the site last night, but it should be working now.  All items except the 5 felt pack should be in stock.

Thanks for reaching out,

Tom”

@johnnotkathi great news. I'll have to order some. My last RCA cleaning tools were a weird semi hard white material.

Thanks for the update,
