Parasound A21+ vs Adcom GFA-585se

I want to change my amps from Wyred4sound SX-1000 mono blocks to a good class A/B amp.  I was thinking of the A21+, but i looked at the 585se and the Adcom compares, on paper, to the Parasound JC5.   Both have plenty of power to drive my speakers and cost the same.  Anyone with experience with both?

I have the old USA made ADCOM amps powering my home theater every day -- still... lol...   The GFA-585LE 2 channel and the GFA-5503, 3 channel mosfet amp.  They are great mid-level amps that move a lot of current.  The GFA-585LE was originally my stereo amp, but, I moved on to higher end equipment for my 2 channel system a long time ago.  I am the original owner, and both ADCOMs had to be serviced.  The old GFA-585LE is a great amp, but, the small "brown" caps on the output boards leaked after a few decades.  The leakage is conductive and causes issues on the board traces.  This is a known problem with those early caps, and I had to replace them and clean the boards..  The 5503 amp and the caps did not leak, but, it did have one small problem that I had to fix a few decades ago, I do not remember what it was.  If you consider an old USA made ADCOM amp, check the DC offset with a voltage meter and make sure it is in spec.  Anything higher than spec, is indicating small cap issues.   Here are some internal pics of my old USA made ADCOM 585LE where you can see the small cap leakage on the output boards.  If you are in the market,  it is just a few screws to take off the amp top panel and visually check the output boards for cap leakage.

On a side note. My 585se was traded for a couple of other peices from a vintage shop. I didn't receive any paperwork with it and the shop didn't have any info other than when they purchased the business and shop it was one of many amps that were aquired. I looked up to try to find the production years and found nothing. The serial number appears to be pretty early being the last 4 numbers are a single digit. The power transister pair numbers are MJ21194 and MJ21193 respectively, which leads to a 2008 manufactured date of that componant.. Does anyone have any input on that?

According to AI, the Adcom GFA-585se was released in 2021 and made in Taiwan, while the Adcom GFA-585le was released in the early to mid 90’s and made in the USA.  Note: The "Limited Edition" (LE) version of the Adcom GFA-585 was an individually numbered model.
