How do you choose a turntable ?

Difficult to audition and compare these days. Not to mention that you also need tonearm/cartridge/phono stage.

Lots of good tables here but I would add this, and these comments tend to verify my attitude. There are an infinite great many combinations of turntables, tone arms, cartridges and phono prep amps that sound great. Both direct drive and belt drive can sound fantastic, both vintage and new tables also can sound fantastic, mass loading and suspension designs can both sound terrific. Even budget tables can sound tremendous. Bottom line, there are many, many roads to great analog sound. Finding that perfect magic one is really not the game. The real joy is getting something and start spinning records.

Maybe I should approach this differently and maybe I should regard a TT as a "2nd flavor" seeing that my Innuos Pulsar delivers everything I love?  I'll be honest,  I don't have LPs and will only purchase the ones I truly love from the likes of Bobo Stensen Trio, Tord Gustavsen Trio,  Marcin Wasilewski and other jazz favorites or acoustic guitarists like Alexander Valentine and Chris Haugen.  A TT just for late night listening.

Will the Technics SL-1200GME give what the Innuos Pulsar already does? If so should I look at Acoustic Solid with big mass architecture?

It is impossible to buy a new and better turntable than the Holbo mk2 airbearing turntable system. For 5500 USD delivered to your home.

Hey all, when I was looking for a new TT, the primary driver was my budget. Determine your top end and decide if a used item is worth it. I'm poor so my TT was about $130 USD and to me, it sounds good.
