Which Record makes your system shine?

Hey All, 

Been a while since I posted anything and I hope I am posting in the correct category.

So, just curious, which Vinyl Record, do you feel makes your system shine and display it's full potential?

OR, put another way, which record or records would you put on if you wanted to show off your system to someone who has not heard or seen it before?

Of course we know, not all records sound the same but for me I feel (at least on my system), it's the record: "Temptation" by Chantal Chamberland - Evosound Records

Carpenters: The Singles (forgot to check the record label).

On the other hand, I have James Taylor Greatest Hits on Vinyl and that record just sounds a bit veiled to me.

It's funny how one record can sound great and another, not that it sounds bad but just doesn't seem to have that crispness or openness to it.

I'm waiting on my analogue system that I ordered last week. I would love to share recordings, but can't speak for my system and how it synergizes with the components. I do have to say, my digital side has been complete for about a year and sounds fantastic. Many of the same albums that are mentioned above are streaming regularly on my gear. I do not know about pressing, but the following I would like to add:

Elton John Tumbleweed Connection

David Grisman Quintet Jazz Alley

My system is awaiting a brand new VPI Prime Scout with the hotroding offered by  Upscale Audio along with a Hana ML cartridge and the EAT E-glow Petit 2 Phono stage. I'll soon be able to join the conversation.

Getz, Gilberto  The Girl From Ipanema MoFi 200 gram, 45 rpm. To think this was recorded 1963  but this version is wonderful.

Also as previously posted, The Wonderful Sounds of Female Vocals MoFi 200 gram. One standout cut Joan Biaz Diamonds and Rust Live. I never cared for her music, but now this version is one of my showcase tunes.

Probably best "regular stock pressing" Donald Fagan The Nightfly. Even a bit better than Aja, Gouch, of course depends on  pressing version.

I have one record which has only one song per side.  One at 33.33 rpm the other at 45 rpm.

The song by Procol Harem, A Whiter Shade Of Pale. 

I would say Tin Pan Alley, noted above, is a close second!
