Adjusting for Tweeter height with monitors

That lovely table with the six chairs is more of a problem than anything you're mentioning when it comes to the quality of your sound. Move that table and your ears will let you know what you are and have been missing.

you would think so, but I have moved that table out a few times, and put down a carpet, and it makes no difference. The Christmas tree and gifts seem even more of an obstruction, yet the imaging is all phantom, and remains excellent.

The imaging at lower volumes when I sit at the table and clean LP’s is more intimate. It doesn't take too long to overcome your brain's expectations.

Have you tried removing the grills for the times when you are critically listening. From what I see your speakers were meant to be at the height they are at, so you may need to add a Super Tweeter if you want more air and sparkle to your highs. Quality super tweeters can add significantly to the price of your speakers so you may have to spend a significant amount for an upgrade for sound quality. It will not affect any of the sound quality that you already like about your speakers, but it will boost what you are not getting from your tweeters, and it may improve your midrange quality also. But most of the time it's well worth it in the end result. With speakers like yours usually that is the next step for better sound quality. And the best thing about it is it sits directly on top of your speaker in the front center of the cabinet, and you can angle it in any direction. One to mention that is in a lower price range of its top model that has all of the Great Sound you're looking for is the... PST Magnetic Ribbon Super Tweeter, priced at around $399 for the pair. I know that sounds like a lot but the top model is around $1,000 foe the pair. But you can get similar results from this model. keep in mind that they look good and Sound even BETTER and are well worth it if you can afford them. Understand by no means do you have to choose the one that I have recommended because they have many you can choose form. Google it and you will find something you may like. Believe me it becomes a significant improvement in sound when your speaker tweeters cannot reach your ears. Also, they are HIGH QUALITY!
