Streamer Software

I’m in a process to upgrade my Node 2i streamer and there are some interesting options available. I use Qobuz, Roon and Spotify with the current streamer. I’m wondering what’s the software level with Lumin, Aurender, Auralic and for example Inuos? This is information which seems to be very difficult to compare, so it would share your experience with streamer software. Just please include information like how you use the software, iphone, android, mac, pc client and version if possible 👍🏻

Let's don't forget Innuos, and their excellent Sense software app.  Very close to Roon, IMO, and sounds a wee bit better.

@jksec

I use Audirvana that is pre-installed on my Infigo Audio IS-1 streamer.  The Audirvana App runs on my Apple iPad and controls the Audirvana software running on my IS-1 server.

Audirvana Studio enhances audio quality on computers by optimizing the operating system for audio playback and disabling non-essential services. It functions as a third-party player, scanning local music libraries and integrating streaming services like Tidal and Qobuz, but not Spotify or Apple Music.  Audirvana offers both subscription and lifetime license models.   Audirvana is a high-end digital audio player software designed for audiophiles, focusing on bit-perfect playback of high-resolution music files from local libraries or streaming services. Founded in 2011 by Damien Plisson, it optimizes computer audio output to minimize processing artifacts and maximize sound quality.

My previous software was the Aurender Conductor App running on an Aurender N10 Server.  Like most software applications, Audirvana took me about 15 minutes to get it connected and to understand its interface.   I find it easy to use and like its sound quality very much.

Last night I downloaded the Audirvana app & it's having a problem connection with my Ethernet cable. After a few hours trying this & that, I opened up a debug ticket. Antoine from Audirvana (very quick response) is working with me to correct the problem. I hope it works out. I really like what it's done to my system.

@danmar123

I also use Audiovana Studio and like it.

I suggest you reboot ALL your devices and see if that solves your connection issues.  It is possible that your devices are out of sync and the rebooting will solve your connection issue  (I hope).

@hgeifman There was nothing wrong with Audirvana, nor my setup. It was my ignorance on how networking works. A+ to Audirvanas support team for their quick response & patience.
