Hyendaudio - Joshua Walfish

I just wanted to leave a review here for Hyendaudio repair services which is run by Joshua Walfish in Fort Lee, NJ.  I can't remember how I found him but I know we all need a good repair service from time to time.

I sent a Musical Fidelity integrated amp and an Ortofon tonearm to Joshua in the past few weeks.  His communication was excellent and his prices and turn-around time were more than fair.  If you need any of your gear repaired, tuned up or just looked at, please don't hesitate to reach out to Joshua.

@jaymark I beleive Josh can handle just about anything as long as he can acquire the parts but always best to check in with him first.

I second a complete recommendation for Josh and his old world one-man-band service.

I used Josh and Hyendaudio to replace the tonearm wires on a Thoren 1601 turntable. The original wires were impossibly fragile and I actually broke one of the connectors off.

Josh was direct and honest about his pricing-- updating me once he began as he needed more wires to complete the job.

I would return to his shop in a heartbeat. Josh knows his turntables. If you need great service and honest work, this is where you'll find it.

Thank You.

I found this Thread since I needed to repair the Arm Lifter on my SME V Arm. This is a typical problem on the SME Arms, and I am unable to tackle this on my own.

Josh was a pleasure throughout the Repair by sending me a Video and a Picture on the progress. He also found a problem which I would have never thought to ask him to review. He found a wonky soldered Wire in the Bottom DIN Connector. If this would have broken here, there would have been a lot of head scratching at my end wondering why it was not working.

I have other SME Tonearms, and there would be no hesitation at all to contact Josh again.

Highly Recommended!
