Since it’s labeled a “Frequently Returned Item,” I’m not going to give it a try—even for $10. Let me tell you a story. Several years ago, there was a reviewer (a YouTuber who’s still around) raving about the Behringer UCA202 DAC. It cost $30 then, and he claimed the sound quality was unbelievably good. I bought it and tried it, only to find that it was, at best, on par with my Windows PC—flat and just as noisy as my PC’s USB output. I didn’t even bother returning it, so it’s still sitting in one of my drawers. It can be used as an optical port converter, though. If you want it, I can ship it to you for $10.  You get what you pay for.  Life is short.  Don’t collect junk like I have done.

Well, finger-pointing always ends up with four other fingers pointing back at you. My $1k DACs might be regarded as junk by others too. LOL.

Oh dear. My post was a joke, totally tongue in cheek, the text was indeed copied (for its idiocy) from the Amazon page.  It is worth following the link to read the rest of the blurb - it gets even more extravagant.

I should have waited 2 more months for April 1.

It might be worth $9.95 and doing a real review.

Oh, but my offer of the UCA202 is serious. Take it or leave it. I don’t joke when it comes to audio.  I take cash only.

@lanx0003  I might just be looking for an Optical -> Coax converter - I would like to get YouTube - my wife's exercise DVD-TV is in the room - connected to my DAC, it is a 20 foot run, I have tried optical cables but they don't work, whereas I could hack something "good enough" out of a run of coax - maybe.

I'm surprised your post hasn't been deleted already.  Seems that humor isn't appreciated here!
