BTW - how do you quote?

Like many other respondents here, I'm also wondering why you would want to pursue bookshelf speakers for a room of those dimensions, assuming you want to fill that room with good sound fidelity

I was initially thinking cost. I was thinking that 5k would get me a really good pair of bookshelf speakers, but not a really good pair of floorstanding speakers. It appears as tho that thinking was flawed. 

Fyne Audio speakers are great, especially if you love mid-range. You'll probably want a sub to go with these bookshelf speakers, though.

No highs, no lows - must be Fyne Audio? I thought it was supposed to be a different brand ☺️

But on a serious note - I’m very curious about the brand, but there’s no store near by that carries them. So it remains a curiosity for now..

I would look at B&W, Revel, and Klisph, but also with this much volume in the room, I would get a good sub, Martin Logan, SVS make good subs but can be a little pricey considering your budget if $5000

Yea you can get brand new Forte 4’s for less than $5k. Emotiva has some great options as well. I’d likely have the Forte’s if I had the money to comfortably afford them. I listen to mostly rock of all kinds of genres, and Klipsch has never disappointed me. I had some Towers a few years ago, powered towers, they were wicked especially after I added a sub. I’d still have that system and added to it had I not moved into a condo building down in Miami. Bookshelves serve me well here with a sub. I can’t really crank it up very often unfortunately. I went with Emotiva and love them!
