Insurance

any ideas on how to insure your expensive equipment? I've tried several insurance brokers and they are unfamiliar with insuring high end audio. I would think its like getting a rider for an expensive watch, but apparently not.

Many insurance companies have a cap on "electronics" like they do with jewelry, guns, ect. It should be in writing. If there is a cap you can probably get a rider. I ended up with State Farm as they didn’t have a cap on electronics. Riders are expensive.

I've contacted my agent and have been told that my gear is covered under the contents coverage, up to that limit,  of my HO policy. I asked that the agent double check that and was told it was confirmed.

I have asked my Allstate agent numerous times over the years if I need separate coverage and have been told time and time again that I did not, same as @kerrybh .
