Aurender versus Hifi Rose?

I am considering the Aurender A200 and Rose RS 151 streamer/dac's.  I have read the reviews and it seems like it really just comes down to personal preference...warm versus detail and Auender has a great app.

Any other comments regarding the a) sound quality, where one is superior to the the other and the user friendliness of the Rose app?.

Perhaps better to paint with a smaller brush. My HFR RS130 has been a terrific piece of kit and I for one do not see so many buyer complaints. More full-featured than almost anything out there for the $ and regular software updates.Oh, and great SQ too!

I had ordered a Hifi Rose RS-151 and the store lent me an Aurender A1000 to use while I waited for the RS151 to arrive, so I've had recent experience with both.  I prefer the Hifi Rose overall, but both have very good sound.  I'm using the RS151 with a McIntosh MA-9500 integrated amp and McIntosh LCR-80 speakers.  The RS151 has a dramatically better interface with the touch screen, and it supports more sources than the Aurender, such as Rose Radio.  Personally, I prefer the sound quality of the Hifi Rose.  The Mac amp/speakers are quite neutral so you can really hear the source material as it was recorded.  The A1000 sounds great but I give the edge to the RS151.

Well, it looks like the two are both good or not-so-good, depending on your point of view.  Overall and from other sources, I am feeling like the sound is somewhat better in the the Auender A15, but the Rose has more features (and is "newer")...but both appear to be solid competitors.  Thank you all!
