.......well it has now been 10 weeks or two and half months since I ordered a '' standard size'' pair of Project V1 interconnects. It also has been 6 weeks / one month and a half since I ordered a 3 meter '' special order '' pair of Project V1 speaker cables. Maybe this is only one of the reasons that there hasn't been a lot of activity on this thread. Once again, not a good showing if this company wants to gain market share here in the US
Furutech Project V1 interconnects or V1 speaker cables -your thoughts on them
Hello members .....if any of you members out there have listened to and have purchased Furutech's Project V1 interconnects or their V1 speaker cables, please let me know your thoughts. I have their V1 power cords so I am familiar with this product line so looking for thoughts from our group here who own their Project V1 interconnects and speaker cables. I have read some of the reviews on them and looking for what Audiogon members have to say about them. Thank you in advance and with any cable topic here ......keep it civil as well as informative. Enjoy ....

@garebear , sorry to hear this. I'm not the importer, but a dealer, and I've just checked. As of 1/14, the Importer has 5 of the "standard" (1.2m) Project V1 RCA's in stock and 1 set of the 1.2m "standard" XLR in stock. Currently, they only have a 2.5m Project V1s speaker cable in stock. Hope you are trying to buy through an authorized Furutech dealer. We have seen our fair share of counterfeit Furutech items. |
I’ve had v1 xlr for a while now. They’re good. They’re not as disappear as the power cables are though. They definitely etch the sound with a thin pencil. Creates some nice timbres in some areas but alas, silver will never sound as good as copper in others. However they are like the pc where they utilize the whole room. In my system, the image is usually behind speakers but things that are meant to be in front of the speakers is really really in front of the speakers. But that’s not a bad thing as usually people with this level of fear have the hash out of their electrical/Ethernet system. |
......just completed the full loom of Furutech Project V1 cables with their speaker cables. I got all this in before the tariffs hit. In the last 8 years I had a full looms of Cardas Clear Beyond and XL power cords then moved onto a full loom of Shunyata Omega cables. The Shunyata's were the worst in my opinion dry and dead, lifeless and stripped the music of any soul. The Cardas were very good....musical and just fun to listen to. They just did not have the resolution I wanted in my all Accuphase, Verity Audio , HRS system. The Furutech Project V1's in my system are dead spot on ......very musical and yet detailed and just so easy to listen to. I can say ....I am done for awhile, broke but finally can rest and just sit back and listen to the music. |
@garebear glad you finally now have a full loom of the Project V1 cables. Agree that Shunyata's are lifeless and have heard the Cardas Clear and Beyound and they are fine cables. I also use 3 Furutech Project V1 ac cords and a Project V1 DIN phono cable as well as their Project V1s speaker cable BUT regarding their Project V1 XLR cable, I much prefer the silver Audiomica Silver VERONI Signature Interconnects. Has more body and extension at the top end, more transparent and open sounding IN MY SYSTEM. (Dealer disclaimer) |
