You said “streamer”, so I assume you are talking about a streamer ( a.k.a., player, Roon endpoint, renderer) and not a combination server/streamer or streamer/DAC.

In the neighborhood of $5K ($ 5,350.00 USD), I have been very happy with the sound of streamed Tidal,  Qobuz, and locally stored FLAC files managed by Roon and played through my Sonore Signature Rendu SE Deluxe (link).

Best under $5k I would recommend Matrix Audio NT1 and over I would recommend Antipodes Audio K22

I'm very interested in SW1X generally, and in their VDT streamers in particular. With no reviews available online, has anyone heard one?

I would hope it would be a significant improvement on my Lumin U2 mini with Fidelizer linear power supply.

I am partial to Innuos products and their OS. I have a Zenith MKIII and love it. Had a Roon Rock and gave it to my son. If I were to make a change it would be to the Sonore Signature Rendu Deluxe as @mitch2 has, I have had their Optical Module Deluxe in my system at one point.
