Who gets to use your Turntable?

For those of you with a relatively large investment in you Turntable/Arm/Cartridge combo - Do you ever let others drop the needle???

In my second rig I have a old Garrard automatic and some vg condition LPs and a few hundred 45s.

I am more concerned about my records than the needle, I have an inexpensive Goldring 1042 cartridge. Not that anyone ever asked for that, by the way.
