And the students she’d be bringing home for your cable comparison oh boy now we talkin |

a) Get rid of those cheesy Dali Rubicons and get some 100db+ high sensitivity speakers which can produce a enveloping nuanced soundfield with spatial cues, while being relatively linear. It’s generally easier with high sensitivity speakers. A lot of cable differences may not show up as blatant changes in tonal balance and so on...they may show up as rather subtle changes in the soundfield, etc. So conducive placement is important. b) Treat your room competently, not just put up 2 panels for show in a decorative fashion. If you do and a) and b), but, still can’t hear any cable differences, it could be just a case of low quality ears. Such low quality ears could be combination of genetic, degradation over time, some radiation poisoning (in your case), adhd, add, poor sonic memory, no deeper understanding of musical pieces, not knowing what to listen for, etc....There are not many fixes available for the latter case, i.e., a low quality listener. "If I can’t hear any difference, i.e. me me me me me me can’t hear anything, no one else should be able to" is a low quality statement to make. Some guys can run faster than you, some could jump higher than you, some could hear better than you. Some guys might be a lot better at paying attention than you and so on... You are not made like everyone else on earth, ok dude? Take care now.

@grunge1000 can you cool @deep_333 to -196 degrees and leave him in that state? It will save the forums from his thoughtful responses. |
