A Charlie Brown Christmas 24/192 Qobuz

Who has listened to this this season? If this doesn't give you the warm and fuzzies I don't know what will. Almost finished streaming the remastered and expanded version, 14 tracks, yet it is only 43 minutes, from Qobuz on high res, and not the best recording by any means, but sounds pretty decent. Some hiss, large soundstage, and of course many tunes that could have been 10 times as long as they are. Skating is just 2:25? Come on! And this was produced 60 years ago!

I think I will hear it in its entirety again when it is done. Maybe I'll try the 24 track version next.

My wife is from New England and has multiple sibs, about half still in the area and the others scattered about the country.  We rented a house for the out of towners XMass week.  I brought my big Sony Bluetooth speaker and while we projected a burning image of a Yule Log on the TV we listened to this album while sitting around the family room in our bathrobes XMass morning.  It was very cozy and I was requested to play the album a second time.  I then followed it up with the Oscar’s Peterson Trio album We Get Requests .

  I know that this is an audiophile site but the BT speaker sounded very satisfying.
