Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO

C-Bank, One More Shot.  The 7:48 time-length version.

I do not know if I just got lucky, or if a lot of this title's pressings have great sound quality.

If you like this song, then with the one that I own, you are in for a treat.  It does everything right, with the sound quality.  It is not the last word in every sound quality category.  But it is energetic, uncompressed, spacious, speakers disappear, focused, plays quietly, and completely musical.

You forget that you are hearing a reproduction.  You just hear the band.

When a hit song has that kind of sound quality, it makes the expense of a good stereo pay-off.
