Millisecond delay to the beginning of songs streaming

Hi, All,

For some reason the very beginning of every song is cut off when streaming. It’s literally less than like half a second…Streamer is Eversolo DMP-A6 Master with TP power supply. I am using Quobuz. I also have Bluesound Icon streaming via Qobuz in my second system that does not have this issue…

 

Any idea why or what is causing this or how to remedy?

That should never be an issue, particularly since something as cheap as Sonos don't have that issue.

I have to say I do love my unit. And I find the Eversolo app to be very straightforward and user friendly. And like I said the weird thing is I have the same setup with Bluesound Icon and no delay…weird. I guess at least I’m not alone and Eversolo says it’s normal. True not what you want to hear, but they did respond right away🤷🏼‍♂️.

 

Very curious if the T8 has this issue-I just started another thread asking any T8 owners if they experience this..

And it’s not even a few seconds, it’s literally like less that 1/2 a second. So I guess I’m fortunate in that regard🤷🏼‍♂️

Bluetooth is not involved in my set-up.

I had this problem and posted about it a few weeks ago. It is definitely a problem with Quboz Connect and there seems to be no way around that. It depends on the specific DAC and streamer combination. 

Fortunately the Sense App for Innuos has a setting to delay the stream for up to 2 seconds and that resolved the problem for me. If your native software allows that it may solve the problem.
