Who here continues to regularly use a CD player?

I do have a CD player, however, at this point, I rarely use it. I mostly listen to vinyl and stream.

Do you still regularly use your CD spinner?

I like listening to music on the medium it was originally recorded on… 50’s / 60’s / 70’s = vinyl. 80’s / 90’s 00’s = cd.

I’ll stream via Qobuz when I want to listen to something new and then decide if it’s something I want to buy or just stream when i’m in the mood.

Happily listening to a Michi Q5. I stream too, but one day Tidal or Qobuz may go out of business, or fall out with record companies, etc. Support your artists who are living and buy physical media, and for those who are passed on, buy used CD’s. They are a perfect medium, don’t wear out like vinyl and you own them.

Darko and Cheap Audio Man have a couple of good videos on YouTube why CD’s are still surging in 2025.

Never thought of that. I like it

I still listen to CDs, even more so now, as I find that there is still more information on them to get.  I still listen to LPS, always have, but the ease and convenience, together with the sound quality of CDS make me purchase much more of them, including SACDs.  Also stopped purchasing 45RPMs, for the most part.  I bought several, at basically $150.00 a crack or more, and I never listen to them.

Yes I do!
CD:75% - Streaming:25% (the gap is narrowing). I do have records but I haven’t got the bandwidth to deal with that area. That’s a beast of an investment to even ponder.
