What piece of equipment have you owned the longest?

Teac X-10R r2r, dbx 224 Type II noise reduction system, and dbx 3bx range expander purchased in 1982 from an auto club while stationed in Germany. A few years ago, I gave my stepson my Technics SL-1200 TT, Pioneer SPEC 4 power amp, and Rodec DJ mixer purchased around the same time.

With a little TLC and professional care, everything is still going strong. I will say, the old SL-1200 TT sounds no where near as good as my SL-1200G 🤭.

In my main system it is a pair of Martin Logan Sequel II's with an Aragon 24K Preamp with phono stage. I've owned these since they were new in about 1992. In my basement I have my original pair of New Large Advent Loudspeakers, from ca. 1976. they were re-coned a few years ago and sound so great that I'm considering having them re-laminated with a high-end wood veneer. I currently have them driven by a FatMan iTube valve amplifier that puts out just 13WPC, but casts a huge soundstage!

Oldest piece in my system is my MR-71 McIntosh tuner from late 1962 , restored and has genuine Mac tubes owned for 10 years. JBL L-100T's purchased new in 1987 ,refoamed and restored with crossover chef crossovers. Read the comments , loved the guy who said he blew out one his speakers horns playing In-A-Gadda Da-Vida. Thoren's TD 125/SME tonearm, SAE Mark 1M, SAE Mark 3CM (2), SAE Mark VI, SAE Mark 1, SAE Mark VII, SAE 2800

If we only list that which is currently connected to one of two systems, the Garrard 301 is the senior player.  However, the tonearm is much newer, probably 70s or 80s Fidelity Research.  Another system sports an ARC SP3a1 and a variety of amps that are in rotation.  The oldest would be Craftsmen 500A (1954), then Fairchild 255, and the youngster is a Dennis Had Inspire KT88.   Altec 604-8G are from the 70s, and they are the oldest speakers in regular use.  One of these days, I need to downsize......but having fun right now.
