Installing huge tv with drywall lifter ?

Years ago when i purchased my firsy 65:" Sony Aquos from Best buy I brought the stand home , had them deliver it and paid them Aprox $60.00 to assemble the feet put it on the stand and calibrate it. Safest thing I did.

Now  i have 2 guys that l come out for $60.00 and the put my new 100" on up for me

also I used them to move heavy old furniture when needed. as I am not as young as i used to be I woulodn't think of doing it with a friend as i would not want to get them or myself hurt or flex the screen on a big TV as mitch2 said   Listen to @dekay and the rest, save yourself from yourself, and just hire it done..

When I had my 75" delivered and wall hung (I installed the wall mount before they arrived) I installed an additional HDMI cable that isn't hooked up to any equipment. I assumed that I may need to add some new source down the road.

@dtximages I ordered a 100":  from a big box brick and mortar.  We scheduled two weeks out for delivery and installation in my new room.  We reschedule 3 times. They claimed the delivery delay was dues to a resource issue.  You see, they claimed they needed four people to move, lift and install the 200 lb beast.  I thought that was not unreasonable.

After multiple reschedules, including an attempt to " drop it off in my garage and have the installers carry it down stairs I cancelled.

I now have a 30lb projector and a 100" screen that I love.  To all of you haters out there, for live events and that true cinema experience, nothing better!! (for me)_

One thing - before it is put up run a heavy duty string through the cable holes in the wall - and leave it there for future use. This way I was able to easily add a cable later without taking the 82" off the wall. 

I'm not a wall mount guy. My 53" sits on a piece of furniture designed for Flat screens. For My $.02 Worth the TV should be at eye level without having to tilt my head back to view the screen. 

How ever, not sure in your case if that is feasible for you. And alos, it's your TV and if you want to wall mount it then go for it. My problem is plugging all those "HDMI" cables in. In your case, I think the best bet is to get Help hanging it. Maybe calling the store where you bought it from and asking how much to hang the TV. Even if it was bought a while ago.

These Mfg's need to come up with a system using a Long cable which is connected to a  break ou box with all the HDMI connections and goes back to the TV. Or a combination of either or. 

I find that from time to time I need to get to a HDMI Connector on the rear. On my set up I can slide the TV stand out so I can plug or unplug devices. Good luck on your quest to Hang that monster.
