Might have to ketchup on this saga and I do think 8 gauge was a great idea.my pangea is 7 gauge and I always wondered why in wall was 10. Less resistance is always good. I make my speaker wire out of 4 gauge wire then twist it put ptfe over it.

Every video feels like a parade of price tags and self-importance, as if stacking ultra-expensive gear automatically makes him an authority. The constant flexing gets old fast, especially when it replaces actual insight.

There’s this relentless “I know best” tone running through everything he does. It’s less about sharing an audio journey and more about reinforcing his own persona. The way he positions his opinions as absolute truth, usually backed by nothing more than confidence and a few recent rabbit holes, gives the whole channel a weird, cult-of-self vibe.

Meanwhile, plenty of creators manage to discuss audio with actual humility, curiosity, and real-world experience. They talk about what they’ve learned, what they’ve screwed up, and what they’re still figuring out. Watching them, you get genuine perspectives instead of a performance.

Jay’s content, on the other hand, feels like an endless loop of “trust me, I’ve got the expensive gear so I must be right.” If someone is into that style, fine. But for anyone who values grounded discussion, technical depth, or even basic self-awareness, there are far more worthwhile voices in the community.

I wonder what the wildlife experience is around his property since he lives in the forest. It's the untamed wilderness of Texas. Is it still inhabited by Indians or did they chase them away a long time ago. Texas is a really really big place it's about the size of Texas. I wonder if he lives near oil Wells.
