You want the set up done in situ. I know Mike Trei has done set ups in Washington DC because another forum participant was asking for the same service and Mike had a trip to DC for several set ups. You might check with him to see if he plans on being in your neck of the woods.
Looking for expert turntable setup guru
I am looking for an expert turntable setup guru.
I have contacted more than ten dealers and other shops up to one hundred miles away. Not a single one has shown any experience of performing the install.
Turntable is set up and working well. I need support to remove and install van den Hul cartridge. I am in the Washington DC area. I prefer someone to do it onsite.
Ref: Turntable Oracle Delphi, Tonearm Eminent Technology ET-2, van den Hul cartridge.

@billstevenson I could use your support also. I'm in the Washington DC area also, 47 minute drive from Fairfax Station. I have an Oracle Delphi mkiii, Moerch UP-4 arm and At ART9XA cartridge. Maybe you could help us both. |

@tubes4good I apologize for not replying to you sooner. Audiogon policy is that we are not allowed to exchange contact information with each other. Unless that policy can be rescinded it is not practical for us to help each other directly. I would be happy to help you. Setting up TTs is my hobby. I do it all the time for free, not sure how to over come this barrier. I have family in the Washington DC area and visit here several times per year. Maybe a meeting could be arranged through a local club? Current plan is to return some time in January/February for a few days. |
