Sonus Faber Maxima Amator without the fancy

I’m a deadhead but I also love blues, reggae, jazz, folk, most kinds.  I’d spend 10-15k on the set up if necessary, I want them to sound like these speakers but without the fancy design.  

Doesn’t need to be super loud, I’m fortunate to have dense walls but still don’t want to bother my neighbors by going crazy 

Also do I really need acoustic panels for the walls?  Hardwood floor with some carpet, walls are plaster 

Speakers on long wall or short wall? 

Short wall, long wall isn’t going to work
