CAF 2025

I forgot to add...best sound at the show to me was the Tidal room. Speakers $64k, amp was like $94k, cables were eye watering expensive. Dual REL Carbon Specials. Amazing 3 dimensionality and realism. Speakers disappeared. I’m convinced the subs brought it to the next level. And they had doughnuts.

AGD room sounded really good as usual.

Standouts

GT Audioworks - Always among the best
Maggie 30.x - no OB woofers - what a $$$$ speaker system should do
Marten small monitor - I never heard their speakers before
Cheeky LC2 - for 2k a steal, but I think the stands in the demo cost more than the speakers
Dynaudio Active standmount - Amazing full range sound and great imaging
La Dolce Audio Open Baffle Horn Level 2 - I'm not an OB or a horn guy - the bass was real and full

I just posted in the other CAF thread as well, but yes- those Dynaudio Actives were amazing to my ears.

I was also impressed by the Odyssey room.
