Sounds exactly how my grandparents would talk when they didn’t want us to understand. those wonderful German immigrants who got kicked out of Russia because of the Boljević Revolution, after Katherine the great invited them to help her farm their lands because the Russians were idiots at Farming. Thanks for the great reminder and on a sidenote, funny as hell.

An old friend of mine had a little sign on his beautiful Marantz tube system that said:

Achtung!

Das machine is nicht fur gerfingerpoken und mittengrabben.  
Ist easy schnappen der springenwerk, blowenfusen und poppencorken mit spitzensparken.  
Ist nicht fur gewerken by das dummkopfen.
Das rubbernecken sightseeren keepen hands in das pockets,
Relaxen und watch das blinkenlights...

i first encountered it on a high school trip to Brookhaven National Laboratory in the mid-sixties, where it had been installed on a bubble chamber, and the first line read:
