I invite you all to play, Joe Satriani "Cool # 9, the studio album version....and crank it. If you do not like the music, just move on. Satriani is a master guitar player and composer. This is music that should be played loud, and my system delivers. Loud, clean, dynamic, tuneful, honest, raw, exciting, involving, accurate, all representing the best in "musicianship". I cannot get over the number of listeners that do not listen to the most significant and important aspects of recordings. Composition, a story to be told; Musicianship, the musical expression of that story. I dam Harry Pearson (really loved the guy), for putting all of these "audiophile words" into our vocabulary. Sound staging, imaging and localization where the characteristics most listeners were going after, and it stuck. A speaker should be able to do a bit of everything, and most importantly, cater to the wants, needs and desires of the listener. I hear all of that. There is NOTHING, zero, zilch, my system could not play. Enjoy! MrD.
Klipsch Cornwall IV
I have a pair of nearly new Klipsch Cornwall IV speakers for sale on this site. I am looking for opinions on the current status of the market for these loudspeakers. My ad has an asking price of $4300, which I believe is more than reasonable considering this pair is in mint condition and the price of a new pair is almost 7k. I see Forte IVs for sale for about the same asking price as Cornwall IVs. So, what gives, has the market for these collapsed? My ad has been up for a while and there hasn't been one inquiry about this ad.
