Streaming questions

I have finally given in to pressure and decided to start streaming. I joined Qobuz and have started putting together a playlist which I assume will be no problem to play in my car with the Qobuz app. I would appreciate some recommendations for the streaming device that I will use with my home system. My gear is midfi: Revel Performa3 206, and Rega Elix-r integrated. When I get the streaming device how do I get it to play my playlist which I generated on my Mac? I am completely clueless as to how this all works. Greatly appreciate your help. Thanks

I’ve been exploring on Qobuz the last few days.  Many Sviatislav Richter albums and Paul Kletzki Mahler 4, all sounding great.  Enjoy

I started streaming 11 months ago via Tidal using their app on my iPhone to control it and it has opened a world of music that I did not know existed, and I did not know I liked. I would consider my setup as mid-fi or better.  For streamers I use a Denon HEOS LINK HS2 or a Wiim Ultra in my main system. I like them both, the Denon sounds ever so slightly fuller or richer than the Wiim but the Wiim has an equalizer that can be adjusted... mine is set at neutral. The Wiim in my system has a bit more high-end sparkle. The Denon was a bit under $400 new and the Wiim Ultra can be found new on sale for under $300. A very good value for the money in my opinion.

You guys were right. Streaming is the way to go. For me, it's not just the high quality sound, but the playlists. I didn't know about the playlists. I couldn't figure out why people said streaming was so convenient. I should have done some research. I have been spending hours putting together classical, jazz, and classic rock playlists. It's so easy. Thank you for dragging me out of the Stone Age. I'm loving it.

@Mahler123: Richter is on my classical playlist numerous times. Great pianist. I have to say Horowitz is my favorite. Such fluidity and effortless grace. To me, he's Hilary Hahn on the piano. I'm going to have to listen to Mahler. If you chose him as your username he must have something to offer.
