Selection of screws to attach cartridge to headshell

I bought a kit from Amazon with a mix of screws. $10,00   Trying to get a great connection head shell to cartridge.  Should I put something between head shell - cartridge that connects them better.  My sense the screws in the kit are not good enough.   Any recommendations?   Cartridge is van den Hul.  The cartridge is threaded.  Should I find the right screw that has the right thread and avoid having a nut?   Any place where I should look?   Thank you.

eBay has cartridge mounting screws for a nominal sum.  Get the ones in titanium, said by some to sound the best.

You need to be careful, many Japanese cartridge screws are M2.6.

The van den hul xgw I use has threaded holes M2.5

Dover, thanks for that. I guess I was lucky, The titanium screws I bought in Tokyo are M2.5 and work fine.  I never even knew there was such a thing as M2.6.

I have the info from Mr. Van Den Hul.  His cartridges are threaded M2.5  3 mm.

The Soundsmith M2.5 set are high quality and have knurled tops so no screwdriver needed. It includes brass, steel, aluminum and nylon screws, so various weights are available if that is a consideration.
