Must have accessories for improved system performance

Would image clarity or definition be #1? Color quality? Contrast? Lifelike depth of field perspective?

@ghdprentice That's a fine answer for a still video image photography system! I mean moving image pertaining to home theater.

@gdaddy1 I agree that that is true for the mass market. But what about the avid videophile / home theater person? If one makes a serious financial investment in home theater then you better be concerned with the best video imaging system you can afford. Or do you mean this holds for the seriously committed enthusiast?

@gkelly Hi!  Interesing comment.  I have a product that will improve the performance of the a/v home theater system. It's called Cable Cell.

@addpowr  the general conclusion was that the pixels are currently small enough that it's not able to be detected by the human eye. So it's more marketing than practicle benifit. Many say that improving contrast and color depth has a bigger impact than increasing resolution beyond 4K.

However, If budget allows and you’re building a serious home theater, you could pick an 8K TV now, with the mindset that you’ll get more “future benefit” as 8K content becomes more common.
